Every program we run is designed to meet a real need in our community — and to create lasting change, not just temporary relief.
Our Youth Education Program provides free after-school tutoring, STEM workshops, and college preparation support for children aged 6–18 in the Riverside neighborhood. Volunteer tutors work one-on-one and in small groups to help students build confidence alongside skills.
We partner with three local schools and two libraries to run sessions Monday through Thursday, 3–6 PM. Annual scholarships are awarded to qualifying high school seniors pursuing higher education.
Our food pantry distributes groceries to 500+ households every week, including fresh produce sourced through partnerships with three local farms and a regional food bank. No income verification required — everyone is welcome.
We also run a monthly meal-prep class teaching budget-friendly, nutritious cooking to families who rely on pantry supplies.
We support adults 60 and older through transportation assistance, home-delivered meals, medication pickup, and social programming. Isolation is a serious health risk for seniors — our regular social events and companion volunteer program keep people connected.
From resume writing and interview coaching to job placement partnerships with 22 local employers, our Job Readiness Program helps adults of all ages re-enter or advance in the workforce. Six-week cohorts run year-round with rolling enrollment.
Emergency rental and utility assistance, connections to housing counselors, and advocacy for tenants facing eviction. We do not have unlimited funds, but we do have relationships — and we fight hard for every family we work with.
Free health screenings, blood pressure checks, diabetes management workshops, mental health referrals, and fitness classes for all ages. We bring the resources to the community — pop-up wellness fairs are held quarterly at neighborhood parks.
Volunteer your time or make a donation — every contribution goes directly to the people these programs serve.
